A pumpkin patch sized for your smallest guests.
The patch comes to your play yard or your multipurpose room, works around nap, and leaves nothing for your teachers to clean up.
Penn Pumpkin Co brings a complete pumpkin patch to preschools and daycare centers across greater Philadelphia. Every activity works for all ages, indoors or out, and our team sets up, runs the morning, and clears the space before pickup.
The questions that come before the date.
Whether the youngest rooms can take part
All ages. Picking means choosing a pumpkin from the patch, and decorating is no-carve, so nothing sharp comes near a two-year-old. Older rooms take on the games; the youngest usually want the pumpkins and the music, and that is plenty.
Nap, snack, and the shape of your day
We work inside the window you already have. A 60-minute party can run before nap for the whole center, or your rooms can come out in shifts while the patch stays set up.
Keeping your rooms with their teachers
Your teachers stay with their own children throughout, so the ratios your license depends on are never in question. We staff the patch, the tables, and the games. Supervision of the children remains yours.
A wet play yard
Indoors is fine. If the yard will not take a setup that morning, the same patch moves into a multipurpose room or a large classroom and the day happens anyway.
What families take home
Every child leaves with a pumpkin they chose and decorated themselves. That fills a pickup line with conversation and a newsletter with photographs.
What your licensing folder wants
We are insured, and we run record checks on our crew. A standard certificate of insurance is available immediately, and one naming your organization as additional insured can be requested. Tell us what else your folder has to hold before an outside vendor works in the building, and we will work through it with you. Purchase orders and net 30 terms are available if a corporate office does the paying.
Small hands, low tables, short attention.
A patch built for a daycare looks different from one built for a school yard. Pumpkins sit where a small child can reach them, the decorating stays at table height, and the music fills the room without taking it over.
The pacing matters as much as the setup. Toddlers do one thing at a time and then want the next thing, so the stations run side by side and a child can move between them whenever their teacher is ready.

Take these with you when you put the idea to your owner or your board.
- Space
- Thirty by thirty feet is our recommended minimum. We flex it to the space you have.
- Indoors
- A gym, a hall, or a large room works.
- Ages
- All ages.
- Crew
- Staffing scales with the size of the party and what you book.
- Supervision
- We run the activities. Supervising the children stays with your own staff.
- Weather
- Light rain is fine and the party runs. We hold no rain dates; in worse weather we reschedule, and your deposit carries over as credit for two years. Spend that credit on another party with us, or at any of the businesses under our parent company, PA Fun Co.
- Paperwork
- We are insured, and we run record checks on our crew. A standard certificate of insurance is available immediately. A certificate naming your organization as additional insured can be requested, though the timing of that one rests with our insurance agent. Tell us what else your office needs on paper, and we will work through it with you.
Preschool and daycare questions.
Are pumpkin activities safe for toddlers?
Nothing in a party involves carving. Decorating is no-carve, our team staffs every table, and your teachers stay with their own rooms throughout.
What can a two-year-old do with a pumpkin?
Choose one, carry it, and decorate it without a knife anywhere near the table. The activities run for all ages, and the youngest rooms usually spend most of their time picking.
Can a pumpkin patch party run indoors at a daycare?
Yes. Indoors is fine. A multipurpose room, a large classroom, or a gym takes the same patch, and we flex our thirty-by-thirty-foot minimum to the room you have.
Does an indoor pumpkin patch make a mess?
Very little. Our straw is realistic to look at and synthetic to clean up, so it does not shed across a classroom floor. We clear everything and leave the room as we found it.
How do you run a party around staggered nap schedules?
The patch stays set up for the length of your booking, so rooms can come out in shifts. Many centers run the whole party in the morning, before the first nap.
How much does a party cost for a daycare center?
$599 for up to 50 children over 60 minutes, or $799 for up to 100 over 90 minutes. Both include setup, staffing, and cleanup.
